SeedTrust® Online Privacy Policy

Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains what information Seed Trust®, LLC.  (hereinafter SeedTrust) collects online, how SeedTrust uses that information, your choices and SeedTrust’s other privacy practices.  This Privacy Policy only covers information collected online by SeedTrust, its parent, affiliates and any related company (unless specifically stated).  Please read this Privacy Policy carefully.

Personal Information

“Personal Information” means any information that may be used to identify a specific individual, including, but not limited to, a first and last name, a home or other physical address and an email address or other contact information, whether at work or at home.  In general, you can visit SeedTrust web sites without telling SeedTrust who you are or revealing any Personal Information about yourself.  However, SeedTrust may collect Personal Information when you provide it to SeedTrust through an online registration form or at other times, such as when you choose to sign up for an e-mail newsletter or other update.

If you choose not to provide the Personal Information we request, you can still visit SeedTrust web sites, but you may be unable to access certain options or services that involve SeedTrust interaction with you.

SeedTrust may also receive information about you from other sources, and SeedTrust may combine the information we receive from those other sources with Personal Information that we collect online.  In those cases, SeedTrust will apply this Privacy Policy to any Personal Information received.

Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

SeedTrust web sites or e-mail messages may contain cookies, web beacons (also known as clear gifs), or similar tracking technologies as they become available. A “cookie” is a small text file that may be used, for example, to collect information about web site activity. Some cookies and other technologies may serve to recall Personal Information previously indicated by a site visitor. SeedTrust may combine the tracking information SeedTrust receives from cookies with Personal Information that SeedTrust collects through SeedTrust web sites, but we will apply this Privacy Policy to this combined data.

A web beacon is a small graphic image that allows the party that set the web beacon to monitor and collect certain information about the viewer of the web page, web-based document or e-mail message, such as the type of browser requesting the web beacon, the IP address of the computer that the web beacon is sent to and the time the web beacon was viewed.  Web beacons can be very small and invisible to the user, but, in general, any electronic image viewed as part of a web page or e-mail, including HTML based content, can act as a web beacon. SeedTrust may use web beacons to count visitors to the web pages on SeedTrust web sites or to monitor how SeedTrust users navigate those sites, and SeedTrust may include web beacons or similar technologies in e-mail messages in order to count how many messages sent were actually opened or acted upon.

When you visit SeedTrust web sites, SeedTrust may automatically collect certain usage information such as Internet domain and host names; Internet protocol (IP) addresses; browser software and operating system types; clickstream patterns; and dates and times that SeedTrust site is accessed. SeedTrust may associate your IP address with the Personal Information you provide.

You may set most browsers to notify you if you receive a cookie, or you may choose to block cookies with your browser, but please note that if you choose to erase or block your cookies, you may need to re-enter your user ID and password to gain access to certain parts of SeedTrust web sites.
