This video will give you a general overview of our system and how to use it. Our system can be used on your tablet, computer, or mobile device.
By now, you should have received an email with a link to set up your password and log into our system.
Once you log in, it’s just three easy steps to get set up.
The first thing that will appear will be your escrow agreement. You can read through it and scroll to the bottom and sign your name.
The next step is to enter in your personal and direct deposit information. You will need your account and routing numbers at this time. This step is very important because this is how you will be getting paid.
The last step is to upload a picture of the front and back of your ID.
Now that you’ve completed these three steps, you are able to view our platform.
At the top of the platform, you will see five tabs. The first tab is your “case dashboard” tab.
The first thing you will see is your SeedTrust team. SeedTrust assigns specific legal managers to each case and their pictures and names will appear on the platform for you to see. They will be your primary point of contact here at SeedTrust moving forward. So, if you have any questions at all, please do not hesitate to reach out to them directly.
You may do so by clicking on the airplane icon to send them an email, or if you click on the telephone icon, you will be redirected to SeedTrust main line.
Off to the right-hand side, you will see your agency team along with any other parties associated with your journey.
In the center of your screen, you will see your pending disbursement requests, and we also have the “view all” option as well.
Down below, you will see your scheduled payment calendar. A lot of our surrogates enjoy this feature because it shows them exactly when, what, and how much they’re getting paid. And it allows them to plan financially around these payments. These payments will appear on your calendar after we’ve received your gestational surrogacy agreement and heartbeat confirmation.
Here we have the month view, along with the list view, for a very easy to read format. And we also have the category view option, which will separate your payments by category.
Off to the right-hand side, you’ll be able to see your next payday along with how many days away it is. Just below that you will see the disbursement request button. A disbursement request is something you come out of pocket for pertaining to your journey that you wish to be reimbursed for.
And all you do is click on the add a new disbursement request button, and it’s just three easy steps. It’s going to walk you through the process. The first thing is you’re going to enter in a date. You can type it here or select it on the calendar here.
The next step is going to ask you who needs to be paid (most of the time that’s going to be yourself), the request type, the amount and any details or descriptions that you have you may type in here.
At the stage, if you have any additional requests that’ll be payable to the same payee, you can click on the add an additional request here. If not, you simply scroll down and attach your supporting documentation.
Next, you’re able to review your disbursement request details. As long as everything looks accurate, you can go ahead and submit it.
This disbursement request has now been directed to your legal managers for review. It takes them a business day or two to receive it, review it and approve it for payment. Once they’ve approved it for payment, you’re going to get an email stating that you’re going to be paid. Once you received that email, it’s just another business day or two, and those funds arrive into your account.
The next tab is the “disbursement request” tab. Here, you may also enter in a disbursement request by clicking the plus symbol at the top left-hand corner of your screen.
This tab also allows you to search a specific request, as well as see a history of all of your requests. Some common statuses that you will see are denied, which means there was an issue with your request, or it’s not allowed for your contract. Approved, which means our team has reviewed and finalized your request for payment. Or paid, which means your payment has been authorized and issued to you.
The next tab is your “documents” tab. Here, you will be able to view your gestational surrogacy agreement, along with any other documents that you’ve uploaded throughout your journey.
The next tab is the “update payment information” tab. This is where you will need to go if, at any time throughout your journey, you wish to update your direct deposit information.
And then finally, you’re able to view your escrow agreement with us.
Moving over to the left blue sidebar, you will see a “messages” tab. This messages tab allows you to message your legal managers directly. You simply click on the plus symbol, enter in your case, the subject, what category does it fall under, you can type in any messages that you have here. If you wish to attach a file to your message, you may do so here. If not, you simply click send message.
That message will then be directed to your legal managers for review, and they’ll respond right back to you on the platform with an answer. Below, you will see a history of all of your messages sent along with any responses from your legal manager.
The next tab is your “my profile” tab. Please feel free to upload an image to personalize your profile. You can also update your profile information here. Please keep in mind. If you change your email information, it will also update your login credentials.
Below that, you will see journey resources and instructional videos that may be helpful to you throughout your journey.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us through the online messaging platform or by email at [email protected].
Thank you for being a SeedTrust client. We wish you the best of luck on your journey.
